This document relates specifically to Domain Names ending in .uk<\/strong><\/p>\n

1) Definitions<\/strong><\/p>\n

In these terms:<\/p>\n

1.1)<\/strong>\u201d Nominet UK\u00a0\u201d means Nominet UK PLC<\/a> (Company No. 3203859).
\n1.2)<\/strong>“The Client\u201d means the person, company or organisation purchasing the domain name.
\n1.3)<\/strong>“The Domain Name” means any .uk internet domain name registered through Nominet UK.
\n1.4)<\/strong>\u201c Working day \u201d Any weekday i.e. Monday to Friday, but excluding bank holidays and public holidays.<\/p>\n

2)\u00a0Regulator Information<\/strong><\/p>\n

.uk domain names are controlled and regulated by Nominet UK PLC<\/a> (Company No. 3203859). The registration and ownership of .uk domain names are subject to terms and conditions in addition to our own. The information below refers\u00a0specifically to .uk domain names only<\/p>\n

3)\u00a0Registrar Information\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Purple PC is legally know as Matthew Haines T\/A Purple PC. The business trading address is: Park Cottage, Beech Lane, Grasscroft, Oldham, OL4 4EP<\/p>\n

4)<\/strong> Registrar Regulation<\/strong><\/p>\n

As a Nominet\u00a0Channel Partner we adhere to\u00a0the terms and conditions<\/a> laid out for registrars by Nominet UK.<\/p>\n

For abuse or disputes related to the registration and use of .uk domain names managed by Purple PC, please contact us using the details above.\u00a0We will responding to your request\u00a0in full within 2 working\u00a0days. Should we\u00a0be unable to help, we can further advise you how to pursue a dispute claim against the\u00a0third party using the Nominet UK Dispute Resolution Service (DRS)<\/p>\n

7)\u00a0Complaints<\/strong><\/p>\n

Should\u00a0you have a complaint about our service or feel we have not treated you in a manner befitting of a .uk registrar, please contact us using the details above and we will do our best to resolve the problem. All complainants are dealt with as per our complaints procedure detailed in the\u00a0Cloud Terms & Conditions<\/a>. 8)\u00a0Response times<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you contact us for any of the above reasons, requests\u00a0will responded to within no more than 2 working days.<\/p>\n

9) Registrant Terms & Conditions<\/strong><\/p>\n

When we register domain names for you, you must agree to the Nominet UK \u00a0Terms & Conditions.\u00a0Full details of which can be found by clicking here<\/a><\/p>\n

10)\u00a0Data Quality\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is important to ensure that any registration contact information that you The Client provides to us when\u00a0registering your new domain is correct. The legal owner must be a valid legal entity, person or company, and the registered address must be a valid postal address.\u00a0For new and existing clients we reserve the right to demand\u00a0for further proof of identity before submitting a Domain Name registration to Nominet UK.\u00a0Further to our submission\u00a0Nominet UK will often perform additional checking to validate\u00a0quality of any data provided. Any errors in that data can lead to Nominet UK suspending the domain registration pending clarification.<\/p>\n

11)\u00a0Domain Pricing<\/strong><\/p>\n

Domain pricing does depends on the package we are offering but will be\u00a0clearly available\u00a0at the time of purchase. Pricing ranges from free to a current maximum of \u00a36+vat per year for new registrations and renewals.<\/p>\n

12)\u00a0Domain Renewal<\/strong><\/p>\n

Domains will be renewed in-line with the renewal option agreed at the time of purchase.<\/p>\n

13)\u00a0Refunds and Transfers<\/strong><\/p>\n

Domain registration and renewal fees are non-refundable, but other than the\u00a0payment of any\u00a0outstanding\u00a0domain renewal fees Purple PC make no additional charge to\u00a0transfer a .uk domain name away to a new Registrar. Changes\u00a0the Legal Registrant of a .uk domain name must be done through\u00a0the\u00a0Nominet UK website using the login details mailed to you when you first registered the domain. Nominet UK charge for Legal Registrant transfers, currently this charge is \u00a310+vat.<\/p>\n

14)\u00a0Other<\/strong><\/p>\n

If the\u00a0Client has purchased their .uk domain from a source or registrar other than Purple PC, the payment and renewal of those domain names is your\u00a0sole responsibility. The loss, cancellation or otherwise of a\u00a0domain brought about by non or late payment of invoices to you is not the responsibility of Purple PC. The Client should keep a record of the due dates for renewal payments and\u00a0ensure that payment is made in good time to their registrar.<\/p>\n
